Dressage trainer, Tracey Hill, has recently joined La Jolla! She is an accomplished Grand Prix rider who earned her USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals on self-made horses.

ANNIE PHILLIPS
TRAINER – FULL TIME
Annie Phillips is a dressage trainer, educator, and dedicated student and mentee of Kasey Perry-Glass, 2016 Olympic Bronze Medalist and 2018 World Equestrian Games Silver Medalist. Annieโs work is guided by the philosophy that dressage should truly be additive to the horseโs body, creating stronger, healthier, and happier athletes while promoting long-term soundness.
Holding a Bachelor of Science in Equine Studies and a Master of Education specializing in Athletics, Annie combines academic knowledge with practical experience to help horses and riders reach their potential through thoughtful training, biomechanics, and postural development.โฆ READ MOREโฆ

STEVEN STRATTON
TRAINER – PART TIME
Steven Stratton has been riding since childhood and has had the advantage of an exceptional education in the theory and practice of classical horsemanship. The US Pony Club shaped his early years where he had the honor to work with many well-respected educators in the discipline of Three-Day Eventing. Among them was Jim Graham, who later went on to ride and medal in the Atlanta Olympic Games. KARIN APPLE
TRAINER – PART TIME
KARIN APPLE is a Bay Area born and raised equestrian. She began her riding journey at 5 years old in Portola Valley and spent her junior years learning the ropes of the hunters and jumpers under trainers including Lyn Irving, John Charlebois, Missy Froley, Cindy Brooks, and more.
At 16 years old Karin began as a working student for Jill Hamilton and Nancy Thomas, and turned professional at 18 years old.
